Guild meetings are educational sessions open to midwives, apprentices, doulas and other birth professionals. There purpose is to provide a environment for learning and improving one’s knowledge. The guilds are open to members & non-members. Guild sessions are usually free, however a small material fee may incur. 

Mark your calendars now! As the date draws near, more information regarding specific educational guild topics and location directions will be e-mailed.

Guild Meetings:

May will encompass two options:

• April 30 – May 3 Christian Midwives International Conference -or -
• May 2&3 Penny Simkin presenting with CHOICES

May 21 - (Peer Review at the office of Diane Holmes need to get ok from Diane)

June 18 - peer review - MHA’s, Bloomington

July 23 - Educational Guild meeting with legislator Faith Leer in Indianapolis (Lynda BK’s) – Meet our Lobbyist(s)

August 23 – IMA annual meeting & elections at Fraley Cabin, Raccoon Lake, Parke County PLUS fundraiser (more info coming on the fundraiser)

September 17 - Educational Guild meeting in Indy, recert NRP with Andrea, $40 fee, MUST reply by September 1, 2008. Call (317)202-0709 and let her know.

October 16 - 19 - Everyone encouraged to attend MANA conference in Traverse City, MI

November 19 - Peer Review in Indy @ Lynda BK’s

December – nothing
